“Projection” in Steve Shane Collection
I’m proud to have my work in Steve Shane’s art collection [www.artluv.org] alongside such artists as Alexander Calder, Jim Dine, Robert Rauschenberg and Julian Schnabel. Steve acquired my mixed media painting “Projection” from Chashama Gallery in New York City.

Note-Taking in California…
Its been just over a month since moving my studio back to California. I’ve been collecting reference images for my new work in a new year. Looking forward to setting up my garage-studio in Half Moon Bay, CA.

“CINDERS AND CONES”: A new body of “Neo Expressionistic Pop” paintings and sculptures by Vergennes Artist and Outerlands Gallery owner Ross Sheehan. An examination of playful, yet looming, past and present Volcanic forms and activities.
“All work seems to mimic the formation and devastation of volcanoes by using heavy oil paint, enamel, ash, mixed metal, mortar and steel dust to recreate the desired textural surface effects and structural cone shapes.” -Ross Sheehan
