Bio

Ross Sheehan is an artist, illustrator, and educator investigating themes of psychogeography and the exploration of uncanny spaces and places. He currently lives and works in South Burlington and Vergennes, VT.

Ross has exhibited at venues such as Local Project in Queens NY, SOMArts Cultural Center in San Francisco, Art Ark Gallery in San Jose, Middlebury New Filmmakers Festival, Bennington Museum, Burlington City Arts (BCA), Southern Vermont Arts Center (SVAC), and International Print Center New York (IPCNY). He studied painting and art history in Florence, Italy, received his BFA in Illustration from Syracuse University, and his MFA in Visual Art from Vermont College of Fine Arts.

In 2022, Ross founded the School of Psychogeographic Arts where he teaches adult and youth art and urban exploration classes out of his studio in Vergennes, VT. He also teaches studio art at several institutions in the greater Burlington, VT area. His work has been exhibited and collected internationally.
